Consolidates the following open Renovate PRs into one branch, verified to build/vet/test along the way:

  • #1 fix(deps): github.com/emersion/go-message v0.18.1 -> v0.18.2 — incorporated
  • #3 feat(deps): github.com/prometheus/client_golang v1.23.2 -> v1.24.1 — incorporated
  • #4 feat(deps): opentelemetry-go monorepo v1.43.0 -> v1.46.0 — incorporated
  • #2 feat(container): docker.io/library/golang 1.25 -> 1.27 (Dockerfile base image) — incorporated
  • #6 ci(github-action)!: actions/checkout v4.4.0 -> v7.0.1 (major, CI-only) — incorporated
  • #7 ci(github-action)!: actions/setup-go v4.3.0 -> v7.0.0 (major, CI-only) — incorporated

All six PRs landed cleanly (one straightforward go.mod conflict between #1/#3, and another between #3/#4, both resolved by keeping the combined/newer versions). Followed up with go mod tidy, which also dropped the unused go.opentelemetry.io/otel/exporters/jaeger direct dependency (never imported in source — jaeger is only referenced as a string endpoint constant) and a stray go.yaml.in/yaml/v2 entry left dangling by the combined bumps.

Verification:

  • go build ./... — clean
  • go vet ./... — clean
  • go test ./... — clean
  • Dockerfile still parses correctly with the new golang:1.27-alpine base image tag
  • .forgejo/workflows/{lint.yml,build-and-push.yml,bump-tag.yaml} all still parse as valid YAML after the actions/checkout and actions/setup-go major bumps

None left out — all 6 PRs incorporated.
